The CD Player is black. The "Standby" sign has rubbed off above its corresponding button (see picture), and makes a creaking noise occasionally when you switch it on standby, but has done so for over a year. There are also some stains on top of the unit, and to the left of the CD tray, howver those at the left of the tray are only really visible in the light.
